Walker Bookkeeping Online (WBO) is a branch of Walker Tax Firm, WBO has formed to provide services dedicated to small businesses. While Walker Tax Firm specializes in helping only individuals with tax preparation and planning, WBO's focus is solely on helping small businesses (larger Sole Proprietors, S-Corps and Partnerships) that are starting up with the intention to grow. Walker Bookkeeping Online specializes in providing accounting services to mental health practices, restaurants, breweries and food trucks.
OUR FOUNDER
Laura Walker
Laura has been in the accounting industry since 2009. She founded Walker Tax Firm LLC in 2015, after working at various CPA firms and as a State Revenue Department Auditor. Laura was determined to take all the best practices she learned to create her own firm. Laura's main goal was to create a firm that put her family first - she knew that creating a firm that was completely virtual, relying on the best technology was the best way to do that. Walker Tax Firm continues to be a successful virtual tax prep firm; solely focusing on individual tax planning and preparation.
In 2022, Laura branched out from her original firm, to focus on helping small businesses. Laura loves to help people and loves to use her business and tax knowledge to help her clients succeed. Laura's passion is to talk with her business clients to help them think outside of the box in order to grow their business.

Professional Credentials:
Laura is an Enrolled Agent, licensed by the Internal Revenue Service, to represent taxpayers, nationwide. Laura has a Master's of business Taxation degree from the Carlson School of Management at University of Minnesota. Laura is a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor and a Gusto Silver Partner.

Personal Life:
Laura was born and raised in St. Paul, MN. She moved to Tucson, AZ in 2021, with her husband, her two Star Wars, Lego-loving sons and her girl-dogs Sota and Zona. Outside of her first passion of talking business, Laura enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, painting and hanging out with her family.
